The Singapore-based Eezee has raised $7.5 million through Series A financing

Singapore-based startup for procurement Eezee, a Singapore-based startup for procurement,has has raised $7.5 millions (RM33.7 millions) in an A round of capitalization which was led by Ayala Corporate Technology Innovation Venture Fund (Active Fund) which is which is a venture capital company that is supported by Ayala Corporation and its business divisions

The company stated in its statement that the round also brought in brand new investors HH Investments and Orange Venture Fund along with former investors Insignia Ventures, Wavemaker Partners as well as January Capital.

It was reported that a range of business angels have also offered cash to the start-up. According to Eezee’s website, it plans to use the funds to expand staff size and expand its share of market, and develop innovative features to its B2B procurement platform.

Active Fund Active Fund is advised by Minette Navarrete, the president of Kickstart Ventures, who stated that the B2B MRO market is expected to reach $616 billion (RM2.7 trillion) and B2B ecommerce is anticipated to grow by 12% per year in Asia in particular.
