New features planned for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
1. App improvements
Based on popular enhancement requests, Microsoft is driving an improved Business Central integration with Shopify , while also optimizing finance and supply chain functionality .

- Financial reports replace charts of accounts, etc.
2. Better with Microsoft 365
It is driving greater collaboration efficiency within Microsoft Teams , giving administrators more control to manage OneDrive and Excel, and improvements to report layouts and data editing in Excel.
3. Reports in Business Central
Because reporting is important to users, Microsoft is including new financial reporting capabilities and improvements to using Excel to create report layouts.
Users can now create their own deeper analysis on general ledger data and ledger budgets with dimensions, thanks to the creation of a Finance API that can be used in both Excel and Power BI.

5. Regional and country availability
Following this new update, Business Central 2022 Wave 2 , Business Central will be available in more than 100 countries and regions (more than 50% of countries worldwide!).
It will be easier for users to find applications for banking connectivity, payroll, electronic invoicing , etc. in the Microsoft AppSource, in addition to its installation and configuration. All this will translate into greater productivity.
